when i say it, i mean it in the sense
of a thumb pressed to soft clay
does that mean heat death?
i doubt it
it could still split the sun from over your shoulder
but, "every worm to its taste,
some prefer to eat nettles"
and still the skin burns dianthus pink,
and echoes what is fragrant on the spring breeze
if i have called anything by its wrong name,
i will suffer for my hyperbole
like when i feel that pink breeze,
warm around me,
i know that i have called it "chill"
but any wrongness is my own imbue
when i say it, i mean it in the sense
of a thumb pressed to soft clay
I discovered this band when I heard "Gutter Master" on WNYU while driving southbound on 9A by Fort Washington Park. I pulled out my phone and looked up a bit of the lyrics while driving and found the title. Anyway, nice album. lizardpt
honestly i love this album because, i love the sadness it portrays. i love the vocals, the acoustics, the electronic, experimental notes. eartheater really knew what to do with this album. vvinni
